Our prebuilt and custom spreadsheets and our document templates are tools to help you record, calculate, report and prepare documents. They are built and checked carefully, but the results depend on the information you enter and on how they are used. In particular:

• You are responsible for checking that the information you enter is complete and accurate, and for reviewing results before relying on them.
• Tax rates, allowances and thresholds in a workbook are correct to the best of our knowledge on the date the workbook was released. They can change, so check the current position with HMRC or a qualified adviser before making decisions or filing returns.
• Calculators, estimators and planners give indicative figures only. They do not replace a tax return, statutory accounts, HMRC-recognised payroll software or professional advice.
• Sample data in a workbook is fictional and is there to show how the workbook works.
• Workbooks are designed for Microsoft Excel for Windows and Mac. Other spreadsheet programs may not support every feature.
• You should keep your own backups. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by changes made to a workbook, file corruption or the use of incompatible software.
• Document templates are general starting points, not legal advice. Check that each document suits your circumstances and reflects the law at the time you use it, and take legal advice where the matter is important or unusual.

Where a spreadsheet is built or adapted for you under a written agreement, the terms of that agreement, including any guarantee, apply in addition to this disclaimer.

When you buy a prebuilt spreadsheet or document template you receive a non-exclusive licence to use it within your own organisation, or within your household if you buy for personal use, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. One purchase covers everyone in your organisation, and the account holder can add colleagues who share the organisation's business email domain as team members in the client portal. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not:

• resell, share, publish or distribute our spreadsheets or templates, or any part of them, outside your organisation;
• share your client portal sign-in details with anyone;
• remove our branding or copyright notices; or
• use our spreadsheets or templates, or their design and formulas, to create a competing product.

Accountancy and bookkeeping practices may use our files to prepare work for their own clients, as set out in our Terms and Conditions. Contractors and other businesses outside your organisation need their own licence. For a reseller licence, please contact us to agree suitable terms.

We aim to keep the website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or free from errors, or that the website will always be available or free from viruses. You should use your own virus protection software. We may change, suspend or remove any part of the website at any time without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this website or its content, or from the use of our spreadsheets or document templates, including any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data or business interruption.

Where we are liable to you in connection with a spreadsheet or template you have bought from us, our responsibility is set out in our Terms and Conditions. For business customers, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for that order.

Our website may link to other websites, including HMRC, Companies House and software providers. These links are provided for convenience. We have no control over the content of those websites and are not responsible for them or for any loss that may arise from using them.
