Version 1.0 – effective 3 November 202612 minute readAML Consultancy Solutions Ltd

These terms apply when you buy spreadsheets, document templates or All-Access from AML Consultancy Solutions Ltd through this website. Please read them before you order. When you tick the box at checkout you agree to them, and a copy of the version you agreed to is kept in your client portal.

12 months' access

Download what you buy as often as you like for 12 months from the date you pay.

Your whole organisation

One purchase covers your organisation. Add colleagues who share your business email domain. No subscription.

Upgrade credit

Half of what you paid for relevant items comes off an All-Access upgrade, up to 30%.

Your rights

Faulty files are replaced or refunded. Your statutory rights are not affected.

01

About us and these terms

This website is run by AML Consultancy Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12747461. Our registered office is First Floor, Unit D2, 4 Neptune Park, Plymouth, PL4 0SJ. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our prices.

These terms apply to every order placed through our website. They sit alongside our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If anything in these terms conflicts with the Disclaimer, these terms apply to your order.

If you buy as a business, some of the consumer rights described below do not apply to you. Where that is the case, we say so.

02

What you can buy

  • Individual prebuilt Excel spreadsheets, including Lite editions.
  • Document template packs. Each pack is a category of editable Microsoft Word templates. Documents are sold by pack, not individually.
  • All-Access – Every Spreadsheet: every spreadsheet in our range.
  • All-Access – Every Document Template: every document template pack.
  • Complete Bundle: every spreadsheet and every document template.

The product page and your basket show exactly what each item includes. All-Access and the Complete Bundle cover the spreadsheets and templates in our range on the date you pay. We sell to customers in the United Kingdom only, so your billing address must be in the UK.

No updates included

Your purchase includes the versions available on the date you pay. It does not include later updates, new editions or new products we add after that date. If you want newer versions after your 12 months, you can buy again.

03

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Payment is taken in full when you place your order, through our payment provider Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank details.

We check our prices carefully. If we find an obvious pricing error before we have supplied your order, we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Discount codes can only be used as described when the code is issued, and only one discount applies to an order unless we say otherwise.

04

Downloads and 12-month access

As soon as your payment goes through you can download your files from the order confirmation page. You can also sign in to your client portal at any time to download them again.

  • Your access lasts for 12 months from the date you pay. You can download your files as many times as you like during that time.
  • Access is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. After 12 months your access ends. Files you have already downloaded are yours to keep and use under the licence in section 6.
  • To keep downloading after 12 months, you can buy again. We will email you a reminder before your access ends.
  • Your access is linked to the email address you paid with. Keep it up to date in your client portal.

We aim to keep downloads available at all times, but the website or client portal may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. If you cannot download something you are entitled to, please contact us and we will help. We recommend you keep your own copies of files you download.

05

Upgrading to All-Access

If you have bought individual items and later decide to upgrade to All-Access, we give you credit for part of what you have already paid.

  • You receive credit of half the price you paid for each relevant item.
  • Relevant items are document packs for All-Access – Every Document Template; spreadsheets for All-Access – Every Spreadsheet; and document packs, spreadsheets and either All-Access for the Complete Bundle.
  • Only purchases made in the 12 months before your upgrade, whose access has not ended, count towards your credit.
  • The credit is capped at 30% of the price of the upgrade you are buying.
  • Your credit is worked out automatically and shown in your client portal. It can only be used against an upgrade, has no cash value, cannot be transferred and is only available to the account holder who made the original purchases.
  • An upgrade gives you 12 months' access from the date you pay for the upgrade.

If an upgrade is bought at a credit price the buyer is not entitled to, we may withhold access until the difference is paid or refund the order. We may change or withdraw the upgrade offer for future orders. Any change will not affect an upgrade you have already paid for.

06

Your licence to use our files

Our spreadsheets and templates are protected by copyright. When you buy, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use and edit them within your own organisation (your business, practice, charity or other organisation), or within your household if you buy for personal use. We license by organisation, not by person, so one purchase covers everyone in your organisation.

Team members. If your client portal account uses your organisation's own email domain (for example name@yourbusiness.co.uk), you, as the account holder, can add colleagues as team members in your client portal so they can sign in and download your organisation's files themselves. In particular:

  • team members must have an email address on exactly the same domain as the account holder (the person whose email was used to pay);
  • team members cannot be added to accounts using a personal or free email service such as Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Yahoo or iCloud, because we cannot confirm who belongs to the organisation; please contact us if this applies to you;
  • you can add up to 25 team members; please contact us if you need more;
  • team members can download the files your organisation has access to, but cannot see invoices, buy upgrades or add or remove other team members;
  • you are responsible for who you add, for removing people promptly when they leave your organisation, and for making sure your team members follow these terms; and
  • team members' access ends when your organisation's 12 months' access ends, or straight away if you remove them.

Contractors, freelancers or other businesses who do not have an email address on your domain are not covered by your licence and need to buy their own.

If you are an accountancy or bookkeeping practice, you may also use them to prepare work for your own clients, as long as the clients receive finished documents or results, not our blank files.

Unless we agree otherwise in writing, you may not:

  • resell, share, give away, publish or upload our files, or any part of them, including on websites, marketplaces or shared drives open to other businesses;
  • share your client portal password or sign-in links with anyone (each team member must have their own sign-in), or give access to anyone outside your organisation;
  • remove our copyright notices from the spreadsheets; or
  • use our files, their design or their formulas to create a competing product.

Your licence continues after your 12 months' access ends for files you downloaded during that time. It ends if you break these licence terms.

07

Your right to cancel

If you are a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content such as our downloads, that right ends once the download is made available to you, if you have agreed to this before you pay.

At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want access straight away and that you understand you lose your right to cancel once your files are made available. If you do not want to give up that right, please do not place your order.

After you pay, we email you a confirmation of your order. It records the version of these terms and our Disclaimer that you agreed to, that you asked for immediate access to your downloads, and that you acknowledged you would lose your right to cancel once they were made available. A copy is also kept in your client portal.

Your invoice is issued through our accounting system and also records this. We keep a record of when your downloads were made available and of each download made through our website, including the date and time, the file, who downloaded it and the IP address used.

Business customers

If you buy for business purposes, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply.

08

If something is wrong with your files

If a file is faulty, will not open, or is not as described, please email us within a reasonable time of downloading it. We will fix or replace it. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time, we will refund all or part of the price.

This does not affect your legal rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. For more information about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.

Our files are designed for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for Windows and Mac. Please check you have suitable software before you buy. A file that does not work in other software is not faulty.

09

Changes to our products

We regularly review our spreadsheets and templates. We may update, improve, replace or withdraw any product, and we may add new ones. We may also make changes to reflect changes in the law or in tax rates, or for security or technical reasons.

  • Changes we make do not reduce what you have already paid for. If we replace a file during your 12 months, you can download the new version.
  • If we stop selling a product you have access to, we will normally keep it available for you to download until your 12 months end.
  • If we have to remove a product you have access to before your 12 months end, we will tell you by email at least 30 days beforehand, where we can, so you can download it. If we cannot give you that time, we will offer you a suitable replacement or a fair partial refund.
  • All-Access and the Complete Bundle cover the range on the date you pay. Products we add later are not included unless we say so.
10

Our responsibility to you

Our spreadsheets and templates are general tools. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation. You are responsible for checking they suit your needs, adapting them where necessary and taking professional advice where appropriate. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.

We do not promise that our files will meet every requirement of your particular business, that they will be free of every error, or that they will produce a particular result. You are responsible for the information you put into them, for how you use what they produce, and for keeping backups of your own work.

If you are a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, loss of data or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. You agree this limit is reasonable, taking into account the low price of our products and that you are responsible for checking they suit your needs.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

11

Suspending or ending your access

We may suspend or end your access to downloads and your client portal, including access for your team members, if we reasonably believe that:

  • you or someone using your account has broken the licence terms in section 6, for example by sharing files or sign-in details outside your organisation;
  • an order was placed fraudulently, or using a discount or upgrade price that the buyer was not entitled to; or
  • a payment has been reversed, charged back or disputed with your bank or card provider.

We will tell you why and, where it is reasonable, give you the chance to put things right first. If a payment is disputed, we may suspend access until the dispute is resolved. If we end your access because you broke these terms, you are not entitled to a refund, but this does not affect any rights you have by law as a consumer.

Ending access does not end your responsibility for how files you have already downloaded are used. The licence restrictions in section 6 continue to apply.

12

Your client portal and personal information

Your client portal lets you download your files (whole packs or single documents), view and print invoices, update your details, manage team members and see your access dates. You can only create a client portal account after you have bought from us, using the email address you paid with. You sign in with your email address and a password, and you can add a recovery email address in case you lose access to your main one. Please keep your password and email account secure.

You are responsible for everything done using your sign-in details. Tell us straight away if you think someone else knows your password or has accessed your account. You can sign out of all your devices at any time from your client portal.

If you add team members, you confirm that they work for your organisation and that you have told them we will use their email address to give them access. You are responsible for removing them when they leave.

You can ask us to close your client portal account at any time. We will still keep order, invoice and consent records for as long as the law requires, normally 6 years after the end of the financial year of your purchase.

We use your personal information to process your order, give you access to your files and send you service emails about your orders and access, such as receipts, sign-in links and reminders before your access ends. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after it.

13

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as failures of internet, hosting, payment or email services, cyber attacks, power cuts, severe weather or industrial action. If this happens, we will let you know as soon as we can and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect. If downloads are unavailable for a long period, we will extend your access by the same length of time.

14

Changes to these terms

These terms are version 1.0, effective from 3 November 2026. We may update them from time to time. Each version is numbered and dated, and we keep every previous version.

The version that applies to your order is the one you agreed to at checkout. A copy of it, and of our Disclaimer as it stood at the time, is kept in your client portal against that order. A later change will not apply to an order you have already placed.

15

Other important terms

  • We may transfer our rights and responsibilities under these terms to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. We will tell you if this happens and it will not reduce your rights.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our written agreement. Your licence is for your organisation and is not transferable.
  • These terms are between you and us. No one else, including your team members, has any right to enforce them, although they must follow the licence terms when using your files.
  • If a court decides that any part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of these terms will continue to apply.
  • If we do not insist on something straight away, or delay in taking action, we can still do so later.
  • If you buy as a business, these terms, our Disclaimer and anything we agree with you in writing are the whole agreement between us about your order. You have not relied on anything else we have said, but this does not limit our liability for fraud.
  • We will usually contact you by email using the address on your account. Notices to us should be sent to info@amlconsultancysolutions.co.uk.
16

Complaints and governing law

If you are unhappy with anything, please tell us. Our Complaints Procedure explains how we deal with complaints.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your home country.
