Aftercare Advice Sheets

Clear written aftercare to give clients after treatment. Good aftercare improves results, reduces complications and shows you met your duty of care. Each sheet covers what to do, what to avoid, what is normal, when to contact you and when to seek urgent help.

• After every treatment – hand over the relevant sheet, or send it by email or text
• Alongside the Treatment Consent Form, where the client confirms they received aftercare
• As the basis for aftercare pages on your website or booking confirmations

• Keep only the sheets for treatments you offer and delete the rest
• Check every sheet against the manufacturer’s instructions and your training provider’s guidance, and adjust timings
• Add your contact details and out-of-hours arrangements to each sheet
• Record that aftercare was given using the acknowledgement at the end
