Charity Risk Management Policy and Risk Register
About this document
Trustees are responsible for managing the risks their charity faces. The Charity Commission expects trustees to identify the main risks, decide how to manage them and review them regularly – and larger charities must report on their principal risks in the trustees’ annual report. This policy and register give a simple, proportionate way to do that.
The document is laid out in the sections below. Each one comes with a plain-English guidance note explaining what it does and what to change.
