Client Record Card

An ongoing record of every treatment you provide to a client: what was done, which products, batches and settings were used, how the client responded and what advice was given. Good records protect clients, help any practitioner pick up where a colleague left off and are vital evidence if a complaint or insurance claim arises.

• From the client’s first visit, alongside the Client Consultation Form
• At every appointment – complete the entry before the client leaves
• Whenever there is a reaction, complaint, photo or significant conversation

• Fill in Part A and the alerts box first, and update the alerts whenever something changes
• Use the general treatment log for every visit and the specialist logs for colour, laser, injectables, lashes and nails
• Delete specialist logs you do not need
• Never erase an entry – correct it as explained in the guidance
