Companies House and Trust Register Discrepancy Reporting Record
About this document
Regulation 30A requires firms to report to the registrar any material discrepancy between the beneficial ownership information they hold and the information on the public register – the Companies House PSC register, the Register of Overseas Entities or the Trust Registration Service – both at onboarding and during the relationship. This document explains what counts as a material discrepancy and records each decision and report.
The document is laid out in the sections below. Each one comes with a plain-English guidance note explaining what it does and what to change.
