What it’s for

The privacy notice the UK GDPR requires you to give website visitors, enquirers, customers and suppliers. It is updated for the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, including recognised legitimate interests, the new automated decision-making rules, the right to complain to you first (from 19 June 2026) and the Information Commission, which replaced the Information Commissioner’s Office on 30 September 2026.

When to use it

  • Referred to in emails, engagement letters and order forms
  • Use a separate notice for staff and job applicants
