An internal record of directors, secretaries and people with significant control, tracking identity verification, Companies House filings and PSC investigations after the November 2025 register changes.
Company secretarial
Register of Directors and PSC Record
About this document
A single internal record of the company’s officers and people with significant control (PSCs). Since 18 November 2025 companies no longer have to keep their own statutory registers of directors, directors’ residential addresses, secretaries or PSCs, because Companies House holds that information. But companies still have to file changes within strict deadlines, track identity verification and investigate who their PSCs are – this record helps you do that and evidences it.
The document is laid out in the sections below. Each one comes with a plain-English guidance note explaining what it does and what to change.
